Understanding and using maths in a purposeful way within the design process, informing the performance criteria (aesthetics, energy efficiency, sunlight, connectivity etc.) with parameters that encode the surrounding nature, so that the result is the fittest solution (just like in natural selection), proves a sensible observation of the environment and an ambition of mankind to glimpse at divine creation.
